Cuba Gooding Jr. has broken his silence regarding the sexual misconduct allegations against him. TMZ caught up with the Jerry McGuire star at LAX, as he prepared to board a flight to New York City.

Gooding Jr. is accused of groping a woman by grabbing her breast on Sunday night at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Manhattan. He spoke bluntly to TMZ about the accusations and how he plans to cooperate with authorities.

“I trust the system. Let the process speak for itself. There is a tape that shows what really happened that is the most important thing,” he explained to the reporter.

Of course, the man behind TMZ wanted more information from the actor, so he asked what happened that night at the bar.

“I was at a club. I met a bunch of people. I said hello and took pictures,” the actor shared, before reminding people to have faith in what people say.

The reporter was quick to ask the most important question, was there any groping involved on Gooding Jr.’s part?

“Nothing. In this time and age, we have to let people speak for themselves. We have to let people speak and express themselves. No, I am absolutely not guilty,” revealed the 51-year-old.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is maintaining his innocence regarding the sexual misconduct allegations against him. The actor does not appear to be worried at all and is 100% sure the legal process will prove he did nothing wrong.

Although he did not mention it in the video, TMZ has sources who are claiming the actor will surrender to Manhattan Special Victim’s Unit on Thursday. He will be accompanied by his lawyers, Peter Toumbekis and Mark J. Heller when he turns himself in to authorities.

Despite his impending legal troubles, Gooding Jr. used his time in front of the camera to praise Jon Stewart and first responders. He was more than happy to answer questions about his own issues but not before he made it clear Congress needs to take care of the first responders. The 9/11 Victims Fund is what is important to the actor at the moment and should be important to everyone else.

If Gooding Jr. is sweating the groping accusations against him, he did not show it at all on camera. Only time will tell how this legal drama will end, but the American Crime Story: People vs. OJ Simpson star insists the system will prove he is not at fault.
